Boho Bride - The Full Moon Collection Shot in Bali
Boho Bride
The entire process of shooting these boho wedding dresses in Bali was a lesson in giving up control, and in the end, created one of the most magical photo shoots we’ve ever done! Everything simply came together; the model flew back from Russia the night before; the location was perfect at the wild beach; the incredible talent of the team, and even the fact the main photographer only spoke Russian and thankfully, so did the model! This gave the opportunity for the photographer and model to speak without any barriers, and the team just went with the flow of the morning and allowed and trusted each other to do exactly what they do best.
We wanted to do a sunrise shoot on this wild black sand beach, so that meant the HMUA had to start at 3:30am. HMUA Natalie Therese and model Liza Sergenko met on their own and followed our inspiration images beyond expectations. The Canadian team met with the Bali team at a closed gas station at 4:30am, and everyone arrived by motorbike, including the helmet-clad model!

Once we arrived at the location, the beach was still bathed in darkness and not a soul was in sight. We made our way down to the far section of the beach, and that’s when the magic began. The rest is history!
